Teeny-tiny fingers. Teeny-tiny toes!!! Oh my goodness, I had such a wonderful time getting to snuggle on a friends new little one for this photo shoot! So tiny and so perfect!!!

This little one was just so eager to enter the world that she decided to push the limits and come a whole month early (and she would have come even earlier if the Doctors had let her). Yet she was a fighter and was able to come home to her adoring family just a few days after her arrival! YAY for beautiful little miracle babies!!!

Thanks Hammer family for letting me come love on your littlest blessing! She is just perfect!

Yep, I am in a Harry Potter mood today!!! But it's mostly because I am gonna share with you one of my favorite projects from this summer. A Harry Potter themed Baby Shower invite and matching "bring a book" card!!!
I have to admit I had so much fun designing these cards. I am a total HP fan and these invites absolutely brought out the literature nerd in me, and I love it!!!

These adorable invites were for a dear family friend who is welcoming her 1st born in just a few months. A little BOY!!! The nursery is Owls and Harry Potter, so naturally the baby shower was theme fitting as well. So cute, and so special for this little precious baby on the way!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

I am so excited to share this cute little print with you all today! I am absolutely in love with how it turned out and hope you all enjoy it too!!

A dear sweet friend of mine is expecting a new little baby boy in the next few weeks to bookend their adorable family of soon-to-be-9. Yep, thats 5 giggling girls in the middle of 2 adventurous young men!! You can be sure that Big brother is excited to finally have one on his side!

I was honored to be asked to help design a custom quote to hang in this new little blessings room. My friend shared with me the quote she wanted along with the grey and aqua of the nursery, and I knew exactly how it needed to look! I am so blessed to get to see a project go from an idea to reality!

Happy Birthday to my Littlest Lady!

Happy Tuesday!!!! Hope you all are enjoying the beautiful crisp fall day!! I know I am!!

Just had to take a moment to share a fun little design I did recently. Cutie-patootie Birthday Invites for my littlest love's 3rd Birthday!!! (YIKES I can not believe that she is 3 already!)

I love being able to look back at the cards from each year of my kids lives and see how much they have grown and changed. I may not be the best when it comes to home made meals for my family, but I like to think that at least their childhood will be well documented with photos, cute cards, smiles and tons of laughter!!!

Love you baby girl and I am so blessed to be your mommy!!!

Ainsley Grace - Pretty in Pink!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!!! I know I am, because I am finally getting to share this cute little lady with you all!

A few weeks ago I had the amazing honor of getting to snuggle a precious little 3 day old miracle, Ainsley Grace! She was just so sweet and perfect and pretty in pink, I could have held her all day long!

Life is truly a gift and I am so honored to have been able to capture a few moments of this beautiful  new gift of life!!!

You know it is a good day when your photo shoot ends up in the lake!!! Oh, this family was just too cute to photograph! We had such a fun time capturing memories of life, love and laughter with their adorable daughter who could NOT resist the calling of the sand in her toes and the wind in her hair. Yep, I'd say the day was properly seized!!!

Just wanted to pop in and share a fun little design to help brighten up this, once again, rainy afternoon.

One of the best parts of my job is designing fun things for special little ones and I am super honored to have been asked to help design these fun colorful cards for this precious girl's 2nd birthday. Her life is just one beautiful example of HOPE defying the odds. And that alone is worthy of celebration!

I am so excited to share this post with you today. This cute little man turned ONE yesterday and since I did not share his card earlier I wanted to do so today to wish him a Very Happy Birthday!!!!

In Germany they do birth announcement cards a little different and I LOVE it. Instead of just an announcement they use the card to take the opportunity to thank those who helped them when the baby was born. Meals, childcare for older siblings, gifts, well wishes, and all the other fun things that parents with a new little one can use when baby first comes home. I love this idea and think we should incorporate it more here in the States. Plus, is he not the cutest little thing????

So Happy First Birthday Tobias!!!! I am so honored I was asked to design this card for you and I can not wait to finally meet you in a few months!!!

Turning Two!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

The past few months have been full of countless fun, crazy, challenging, and life changing adventures for our family. And one of these fun adventures was that my littlest lady turned TWO!!!

She is a miracle baby from the start. A brave little soul who is already wise beyond her years. I am beyond blessed with her little life, courage, spunk and hilarious personality.

So without further ado, Happy Birthday sweet princess!!! We love you to the moon and back!

I have been so excited to share this fun design with you and today is FINALLY the day!!! I love it when clients come to me with a fun and wild idea in their heads that I get to play off of and create something new and unique. This project was definitely one of those!!

Everything from the bold Spray Paint for a Baby Shower to using the Chinese Year of the Horse symbol which will be the theme for the baby room. I LOVE it!! Move over soft pastels and flowery lettering, this baby boy is gonna make his grand entrance in BOLD, BLUE, all BOY, style!!!

Boys will be boys!!

Yes, boys will be boys. And I LOVE it! I had such a fun time taking photos with this wonderful young family and their 3 boys. So full of energy, life, and a million and one awesome facial expressions!

I was grinning from ear to ear as I edited these images because I came across so many wonderful silly little boy faces. And each one more precious than the next. This is what taking photos with kids is all about. Not capturing the pristine, perfect, still images that we so often would like to see in our children; but rather capturing these memories of who they are and how their cute, silly, little grins can just melt your heart!

Yep, this family is just too cute and I have loved getting to watch them grow both in number and more in love with each other over the years. Thanks again for letting me be a part of your family memory making and enjoy all the crazy smiles these boys bring into your lives!!

Christmas Showcase #2 - Happy Birthday little ONE!!!

Happy Monday everyone!!! I thought I would share a little something close to my heart to start the week off wonderfully.

One of the best things about being a designer and working for myself is getting to design fun little things for ME!!! This is not as easy as it sounds however, you see, I am a perfectionist and so getting what I want exactly as I think I want/need it.. can sometimes take forever. Yes, I am my worst critic. But I keep on working towards my own standards and I usually end up with something that I LOVE!

Or as I tell my friends, I may not be able to cook a fabulous meal to save my life but I can make a mean Birthday Card!!!

So without further ado I present to you my latest little creation for my Adorable, Squishy, Tiny, Miracle of a Baby Girl. She turned ONE a few weeks ago and I am just now getting around to sharing her Birthday Invite. I love this little face and these piercing eyes. Happy First Birthday baby girl!!!!

The Beautiful Allen Family....

There are certain times in life when memories just HAVE to be captured. This would be one of them.

A dear friend of mine contacted me a few weeks ago wondering if I could take some family photos of them on short notice while they were in town. Of course, I just happened to have that weekend off. The reason for these short notice photos was that her husband just got notice that he will be deployed at the end of the month and they were wanting to get some family photos with their darling new 7 month old daughter before daddy leaves for 9 months. YES! I was very honored to be asked and I had such a fun time capturing these precious memories of Daddy and his girls before he leaves the country.
