The announcement is official and I can finally share this cute little New Years card with you all! I had so much fun getting the inside scoop and helping design this little announcement for this adorable family, and I could not be more thrilled for them to be growing by 4 little miracle feet this summer!!

I am so excited to share this post with you today. This cute little man turned ONE yesterday and since I did not share his card earlier I wanted to do so today to wish him a Very Happy Birthday!!!!

In Germany they do birth announcement cards a little different and I LOVE it. Instead of just an announcement they use the card to take the opportunity to thank those who helped them when the baby was born. Meals, childcare for older siblings, gifts, well wishes, and all the other fun things that parents with a new little one can use when baby first comes home. I love this idea and think we should incorporate it more here in the States. Plus, is he not the cutest little thing????

So Happy First Birthday Tobias!!!! I am so honored I was asked to design this card for you and I can not wait to finally meet you in a few months!!!

Christmas Showcase #12 - Simple and Sweet!

Hello and Happy Thursday. I just have a little something simple and sweet to share with you all for todays Showcase.

I was recently asked to design some "We Have Moved" cards for my Grandparents-in-Law. I love how fun, yet not too flashy for the older generation, they turned out. Simple, beautiful and sweet. Just like my husbands grandparents whom I have grown to love so dearly since I married into the family. And since my own grandparents are either no longer here or live in a different state, I am honored to have a set of grandparents close by who I get to design fun little things for.

On the 1st Day BEFORE Christmas...

Merry Christmas EVE everyone!!!! The big Day-Before-The-BIG-Day is finally here!!! I don't know about you but I am excited! And I am even more excited to finally be able to show you my Favorite of all the 12 Days BEFORE Christmas countdown for 2012!!!

.. my best gift this year... Aeden Lily!" 

- Here is the Birth Announcement for my littlest love, my new daughter, Aeden Lily Sutherland!! Yes, it is true, I got my big Christmas gift early this year. Almost 2 whole months early in fact. This little one has been on my Christmas wish list for quite some time now and I can not express in mere words how blessed I am to have her in my life. She is a complete miracle and will always be the best Christmas Gift I will ever receive. Thank you all who have walked beside us, prayed for and with us, and encouraged us in the adventure of getting her here. They say the best gifts don't come from a store and I could not agree more. What a beautiful, precious, gift LIFE is!

Shanghai Bound...

One week ago today, a dear friend of mine began what will most likely be the biggest adventure of her life so far. She moved to China!!!! I am sooooo excited for her and this amazing opportunity to teach children in China for a few years... AND not only that, but her school is located IN the Shanghai Zoo!!!!! How cool is that?

Before she left though, I was honored to be able to create some cute little Moving-Out-of-The-Country cards for her to send to family and friends as she begins this next big adventure. (You can visit her blog here)

But I must be honest here... this was a rather bittersweet card to design. However much I am excited for my dear friend to be off on this amazing, incredible, life changing, journey, she will be greatly missed by not only me, but by many, many others back here in the States.

A Summer Move...

Yes, it is official, my summer has raced by. My blogging has unfortunately had to tak a short vacation of sorts because of this fact. BUT that does not mean I have not been busy designing fabulous things that I can not wait to share with you all. These wonderful projects are all on a nice little list that I will be checking off here in the next few days and weeks.

So, for today, I will leave you with a little something I created as part of why I was so busy this summer. We moved!!! Yes, I am still in the middle of unpacking but we are finally starting to get settled in to our new home. Moving can be a hassle at times... especially the new address change. So I decided to create these little business size cards to pass out and share with family and friends so they can remember easily!

Finally home after an amazing, crazy, long, fun, relaxing, celebratory graduation weekend away. I am so very proud of my little baby brother (yes, he will always be the baby) for all that he has accomplished in the past few years. He stuck with it and the graduation ceremony this weekend proves that his college years are now officially over, we have photos to prove it!!!! Several degrees under his belt and an awesome job in his field of study. FOOD!!! Yes, I am bragging, but a big sister gets to do that every once in a while.

Congrats Michael, I love you and I am so proud of you!
