Christmas Countdown #8 - Silent Night, Holy Night!

One of my most FAVORITE things about this season is the music! I am a music person any time of the year, but there is just something special and comforting when it comes to the familiar sounds of our favorite Christmas carols.

This year I had the opportunity to not only sing with an amazing local choir, but I was also asked to help design the concert banner/poster. Unfortunately I came down sick the weekend of the big performance and was not able to join them on stage, but they did an amazing job and I am truly honored to have been a part of a group like this.

So whether you are the lead musician, sing so-lo-we-can't-hear-you, or you are just out there making a 'joyful noise', I want to THANK YOU for sharing your talents and voices to bless others around you this year with the good news that our Savior is Born!

Hello Fall!!!!

The leaves are officially changing and the crisp air is in full effect!!! My FAVORITE time of year is here.. and has been for a few weeks now! Yep, I Love Fall!!!

I am super excited to share a few fun designs with you all today, especially because I rarely get the chance to design something JUST for Halloween!!! But today is that day! Recently I have been working with a local Church helping with some fun designs, posters, flyers, logos etc. And one of these fun projects was a community wide Trunk-or-Treat at the park. The poster turned out so fun and colorful, I just love it!!! Here's to a good night of Fall Family Fun!!!!

Summertime Fun!!!

I LOVE Summer and all that it brings with it. Swimming, sun, outdoors, hiking, bbq's, and my all time favorite CAMP!!!

There is something truly amazing about living in the Rocky Mountains that can be lost and taken for granted in the midst of every day life. We have such grander and awe inspiring majesty just waiting outside our door. I recently worked on a few fun summer themed projects for CMC that gave me the opportunity to really display the colorful beauty of a Colorado Summer!!! I love how these turned out and I am excited to hear about all the fun adventures these students had with their summer learning experiences!!

A little Summertime fun!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are enjoying the warmth and sun that these days are bringing. School is out and the sprinklers are ON!!! I love summer and the green of everything around me, the crisp warm late nights, and wearing flip flops!!!

Everything's so Green!!

Hello and Happy Earth Day!!!

We just got back from a wonderful field trip exploring nature and the beauties of creation with my girls where we got to get dirty and enjoy this wonderful world we are blessed to live in. Hope you all are taking time to enjoy the beauty outside today!!!

As you all may well know I LOVE the color green!!! And since Earth Day has a lot to do with green things I thought I would share a few fun "Green" projects I have been working on recently with CMC. It is awesome to see a college and community committed to keeping this wonderful world we live in a beautiful place for generations to come.

A little CMC recap...

Happy Tuesday!!! The sun is shining and Spring is in the air... Oh and today is the last day of March. WHAT?! When did this happen?? I was looking back over some of my projects to post this week and realized that it had been quite a while since my last CMC post.

Happy Spring!!!

The first Tuesday of Spring is here!! I love the change of the seasons... and apparently so does my daughter. She has been running around wishing everyone "Happy Spring" since Friday as if it was some kind of national holiday! Love it!!!

So to kick off this wonderful time of the year as we celebrate the Newness of Life in all the little flowers and buds around us, I wanted to share a fun New business I have had the opportunity to work with recently.

My talented Brother-in-Law, Jon Downing, has recently started up a new lawn care business called Northern Landscaping Services and asked if I would help them design a logo and some marketing materials as they kick off this new adventure. I love the ideas he had for a fun, fresh, 'clean-cut', look for their Logo and coordinating flyer and I was honored to be a part of this start up process. I am super excited for this new small business and I can't wait to watch the clients just come rolling in!

Thankful For Family...

Happy Thanksgiving Week!!!  I love having the opportunity every year to really dig deep and find those things which I am most thankful for. It is easy to be grateful during the easy times in our lives, but even in the midst of pain, injury, loss or other tough times - there is always something we can be thankful for.

One of the things I am truly thankful for this year is Family!! True family does not have to consist of flesh-and-blood relatives, but those who can share and celebrate in the big (and little) joys in your life, those who know your weakest points, have seen you dry your tears, and yet still stick with you through it all!! For these things, Friends and Family, I am truly thankful!!!

It has been a hard year for both my family, and my hubby's family. But in all that has happened I know that God is in control and I am beyond blessed to have such an amazing group of people to walk this crazy road with. So in honor of family I thought I would share a fun little invitation I designed for our annual Imhof Family Reunion this year.
