The BIG 60!
What a wonderful long weekend this has been. I am exhausted but happy! There is nothing better than the opportunity to celebrate the birth of a wonderful woman with a bunch of family and friends. Especially when that woman is your Mother!
This past week my dear Mommy turned the BIG 60! So we threw her an all out Birthday Bash at one of her favorite places, Anderson Farms!!!! This year has been one for the books for my family and I think we all needed a party to look forward to, even in the midst of struggle and change. Celebrating the wonderful years God has blessed my mother with was the perfect opportunity to dwell on JOY and the HAPPY things in life instead of the harsher things that have come our way. It is safe to say that my mom is the glue that holds us all together. She is so much stronger than she will ever know and yet she can still approach every situation with gentle grace and patience. She is a woman of God, a youthful spirit, a faithful friend, a loving wife and a very caring mother.
Sunflowers were the main theme for the event and I had so much fun designing not only the Invites, Map, and Thank You's, but getting to coordinate them to the party decor as well. Yes, it was a bright and colorful, sunflower-filled, summer-on-the-farm party and I enjoyed every minute of it!
Happy Birthday Mommy and know that you are very Loved and very Precious!!
ENJOY!

Christmas Showcase #13 & #14 - A Day in the Life...
Yes, that is right it is another 2 for 1 day!!! Small Business Christmas Showcase #13 AND #14. Why 2 for 1 you ask? Well because the small business I am going to showcase today is actual several mixed into one amazing little place called Anderson Farms!
For the past few years I have been honored to have the opportunity to work outside the home for a few weeks every fall. I done my mud boots and my warm gloves and head to the farm!!! Normally I am jumping on busses full of school kids and welcoming them to a fabulous one-of-a-kind fall field trip. But one weekend out of the season I trade my mud boots for my camera and become Staff Photographer for the day.
I love being able to capture the memories of families and kids enjoying themselves at Anderson Farms Fall Festival during the day, and then at night I get to capture the element of surprise as the farm takes on one of its other many hats as Terror in the Corn and Zombie Paintball Hunt come alive.
Over the years I have fallen in love with this local, family run farm and I am super excited to share some of my favorite highlights of this year at Anderson Farms, Terror in the Corn and Zombie Paintball Hunt.
ENJOY!!!

Ode to the Pumpkin Patch...
The costumes are hung
in the closet with care.
The snow is now falling,
November is here...
October was fun,
we all had a ball.
Hello Winter,
Goodbye Fall...
Ok, so maybe it is not officially winter, but today it is SNOWING out my front door! Today also marks the end of my 3rd season working out at Anderson Farms. I love this time of year when I get to spend my days in the wonderful fresh Fall air, greeting thousands of field trip kids all excited to pick their own pumpkin fresh from the patch!
Not only do I get to work with the kids that come to the farm, but I get to be the official photographer on select weekends. WOO HOO!!! This year I did several photo shoots for both Fall Festival and Terror in the Corn. Here are a few of my favorite glimpses into Fall on the farm!!!
ENJOY!!!
(And just in case you were wondering, the last 2 images are from Terror in the Corn so be warned.)

Happy Fall!!!!
Yep Fall is HERE!!!!! The air is getting crisper, the leaves are starting to change and according to the calender it has officially arrived. For me however, the start of Fall is marked by the opening of Anderson Farms in Erie, CO. TODAY is that day!!!! The farm is finally open, pumpkins have been picked, bows have been tied and the sun is out. Yep a great day for Fall to be here.
Last year I was asked to design Anderson Farms a new map and this year we needed to do a little updating since the farm has so many new fun things this year. I am so excited to show you all the fun new things that have been added. So without further ado.. here ya go!!!!!
ENJOY and Happy Fall!!!!!

Are You Ready for FALL???
I know I am. I LOVE Fall... the leaves, the colors, the smell of change in the air, oh and birthdays of course.. but that is for a later day. Today I want to share with you one of my favorite places to celebrate Fall, Anderson Farms in Erie, CO. Last year I had the wonderful opportunity to work with them for Fall Festival and I am back for more this year, yay!!!! AND even more exciting is that I was asked to design their new map for the farm. There are a lot of new changes this year and it was time to upgrade the map design. What a fun project this was.. and today I actually got to see it displayed in the information booth surrounded by pumpkins and gourds. YES, Fall is officially here and Fall Festival starts tomorrow!!!!! Everyone in the CO area should make plans to visit Anderson Farms this year... it is sooo much fun!!!!!
So without further ado.. here is the map.. ENJOY!!!!!
