Earlier this summer we had a wonderful hike getting to know each other and spending some time taking engagement photos.  Seriously, these two are just two cute for words and I can't wait to photograph their big day!

Christmas Countdown # 5 - A Winter Wedding!

Today was a beautiful winter day. The sky was a clear bright blue, the new snow on the mountains showed off their wonderful majesty, and the air was full of excitement. Yes, indeed it was a beautiful day for a Winter Wedding!!!!

Our Christmas Countdown #5 is this cute little custom Wedding Invitation. They wanted a simple yet unique invite with a quaint country look. I just love how they turned out and I wish them many wonderful years of happiness together. What better Christmas gift than to marry the one you love!!!

There are some days that just bring a huge smile to your face. A beautiful fall day in early October was one of those days. Bright blue sky, a hint of fall on the breeze and the joy and laughter of a couple in love!!!

This wedding was nothing less than amazing! From the beautiful bride NOT freaking out because the gardener had pulled up ALL of the lovely flowers the day before; to the brilliant BLUE suite the groom pulled off so fashionably; to the complete clash of cultures as upscale L.A. met hometown Colorado! Yes indeed, this was one for the books!

I am so blessed to have had the honor of taking photos for this couple on their big day and I am so excited to get to share a few of my favorites with you all.

I am so excited to finally be able to share todays design with you all!!!

This weekend we welcomed a new member to the family as my beautiful Sister-in-Law got married!!! I am so excited for them and I love how much they love each other!!!

They had the most amazing backyard wedding and I was blessed to be a part of it all by getting to design their invites and favor cards. Designs like these are so fun to create!!! Full of personality, style and even a hidden surprise or two created just for the groom. (Yes they are there.. can you spot them??) Everything turned out so beautiful and I am beyond happy for them!!!

Hannah + Jarrod = LOVE!!!

Just shy of eight years ago a very talented young lady beautifully played the Celtic Harp as I walked down the aisle to say my "I Do's." It was a day I will not soon forget!!!

A few weeks ago I had the amazing honor of photographing that same young lady as she walked down the aisle to say her own "I Do's." It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have attended. The love and laughter that filled the air with every step and every photo was infectious and I could not help but smile all day long... and then smile some more as I went back through the photos from their special day.

This couple is so very dear to my heart and I am beyond excited for their new life together. Hannah and Jarrod, thank you for giving me the honor of being a part of your big day and I wish you both years and years of joyous blessings in your Happily Ever After!!!

A Beautiful Day for a Beach Wedding....

Happy, Happy Wedding Day to my Beautiful Cousin!!!!!

Today in paradise my lovely cousin is getting ready to walk the sand covered aisle and say her "I Do's". I could not be happier for her and her husband-to-be. So in celebration of today, I want to share with you a little something fun.

I was honored to be asked to design the invites for their BIG day and I just LOVE how they turned out!!! Simple, fun, and perfect for a destination wedding in paradise... I can almost feel the sand in my toes and the ocean breeze on my face. I have been so excited to show these to you and today is the day!!!

Congrats Lauren and Todd on your big day!!! I hope it is everything you have ever dreamed of and I wish you both a lifetime of blessings as you start this new adventure together!!!

A Sacred Vow...

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing an amazing, heartwarming event. A beautiful winter wedding. Yes, I know all weddings are beautiful, but as I began editing these photos I was hit with an overwhelming sense of awe and a beautiful renewal of the true meaning of the vows that were spoken.

"Till death do us part."

We have all heard these words a time or two.. some of us have even said them ourselves as we lovingly and innocently gazed into the eyes of our significant other. BUT do we really KNOW what this means??? Do we know what we are getting ourselves into? The pain that could come; the heartache that will linger long into the night; the real, raw face of someone we love gazing back at us at their worst? I, for one, had no idea the realities of these vows when I spoke them almost 7 years ago....

But as I edited these precious wedding memories, it hit me. They know, they KNOW!!! Both the bride and groom had held the hands of their 1st spouses as they fought with, and lost to, the evils of cancer.

Real. Raw. Hard. Reality!

And yet here they are brought together through a love that is stronger than the painful memories of the past. A healing, loving bond that holds the heart in-tact and whispers, "We know what we are getting into.. but it is WORTH IT!"

This sacred vow is truly a beautiful thing, may we never forget!

Every Day Should be Mothers Day!!!

Ok, Ok, so in true fashion of being a mom with 2 little ones I am a few days behind with my Mothers Day Post. But as I sat down to write I decided that EVERY DAY should be Mothers Day, so in reality I am not behind at all!!!

To be honest though, I could not post my fun Mothers Day gift/designs because I had not given them to my Mother and Mother-in-Law yet. And of course, however excited I was to show these to you,  I did not want to spoil the surprise!!

These "What a Difference a Day Makes" design prints were inspired by an amazing fellow designer over at Pixels to Paper and I just knew I needed to create something similar for my family for Mothers Day. I Love, Love, Love, Love how they turned out!! (And yes, I did make one for myself this time!)

A Mountain Top "I DO"...

Happy, Happy Tuesday!!!! I have been waiting, what seems like forever, to show todays designs to you. A very dear friend of mine, whom I have known since college days, asked me months and months ago to design her Wedding Invites... and Save-the-Dates.. and a bunch of other printed stuff to go with. Of course I was thrilled to be a part of her big day! I love weddings and I love the color green and I love designing fun matchy-matchy stuff so this project was just a perfect mix of all three. We have had such a fun time creating these cards and I am so excited that I can finally show them off!! YAY!!!!

Heather and Cameron, I am soooo beyond excited for you guys and your new life together. May you be forever blessed and continue to love each other more and more as each year goes by!
