Red, White & Birthdays!!!

Happy July Everyone!!!! It is time to get on our party hats, set out the flag, pack a picnic, slap on the sunscreen and prepare for Americas Birthday this weekend!!! YAY! I love the 4th of July and all the celebrations that come with it...

So to kick off the weekend festivities, I thought I would share a little ad I did that came out in todays edition of the The Sopris Sun. (If you live in the Carbondale area check it out, it is the whole back page!!!). I was asked to help design this ad in honor of Jim Calaway's 80th Birthday and all that he has done for the community as well as Colorado Mountain College, where I graduated. I am so excited with how fun it turned out and just heard this morning that he LOVED it and wants to save 100 copies. YAY!

Congrats on 80 years Jim, and thanks for being such an amazing a part of my education! ENJOY!

June Flower Fun #4

Are you ready?? It is time for my 4th and final Flower Logo!!! I have loved being able to do this fun series throughout the month of June in celebration of my little girls birth month. Yep, we LOVE flowers!!!!

This logo is one that I have actually been working on for a while and am so excited to finally be able to show it off... as well as spotlight this wonderful business. My dear friend Molly, is a fellow photography student from Colorado Mountain College and funder/owner Molly M. Peterson Photography (visit her FB page here). Her work is amazing... From Families, to Farm Animals to Food Magazines, this girl is diversly talented. Each time I see her post new projects or photos of her recent adventures I am once again in awe of all the fun things she does.

I was so honored to be able to come alongside her and create a simple "farm fresh" logo that would fit right in with the style of her work. Best of luck always Molly, you amaze me! ENJOY!

June Flower Fun #3

Well, now that June is about to leave us, I figured I should share the rest of my Flower Logos for my June Flower Fun project.

I Love Love LOVE clients who like to mix things up and have fun with a design. This logo was so much fun to create and THEN my client decided to use all 3 color choices on the proofs. WOO HOO, this is like a designers candy fix. To be able to get creative with not one but THREE color pallets!!!

A wonderful friend of mine (and fellow photographer, as well) owns a Wedding Planning and Event Flower business called A Flower Peddler. She is amazingly talented to say the least. She actually did the flowers for my wedding and I could not have been more pleased. Recently she decided she needed a new look to go with the new name for her business, so we started creating. And ta da A Flower Peddler now has a new, fun, multi-colored logo!

I cant wait to see her creativity as she mixes these colors up for her business venture. Adding a fresh difference, yet keeping with the same all around look of the logo. A perfect mix!!!
